I'll turn 52 on March 2nd. I used to worry about growing old and all the physical changes that accompany that growing. I wanted to stay young, slim, active and painfree forever. But I can honestly say that I would not be in your shoes today for anything. Not to get rid of wrinkles, fat, gray hair or anything else that comes with growing older. If I had to take a FINAL in anything, I would probably have a heart attack. So, my prayers are with you and your friends as they struggle to keep their minds on finals and not the upcoming holiday and homecoming. My prayers are also with your friends who are struggling to find their place in life. Believe me, life hits you hard when you least expect it. Also a big thank you for letting this little ole Mom join in blogging with all of you young ones. Thirty years from now, when I am in a retirement home, you will all be my age and I hope that occasionally someone will write me a letter or come and visit. In this beautiful advent season, I hope that you are blessed with many happy days, In Christ our Savior, Kitty
Thank goodness for people like you, Kitty! I'm sure we will write. Good luck with finals, LiLosSoljr, contrary to Kitty, I won't almost rather be in your shoes than struggling with this stupid thing they call real life...almost ^_^
My deepest thanks to and for you both. I am sitting here looking out at the cloud covered sky and listening to the wind, taking one last breather before the plunge into the preparations for the last final. Today's went well, which was encouraging.
Have a blessed Advent, and a most happy Christmas, Kitty. Toque, I will be seeing you soon.
i am found here in my words... or perhaps somewhere between all of the words...i know i'm headed somewhere - trying to see what i can of the world while out in it, learn what i am able while on the way, and love who and what i meet while getting there
